4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us [made us alive]
together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together
in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace
in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
I was listening to the song, "Love Me Tender" by Elvis Presley, as the crowd went wild. There is such a longing in people, for true love, which this world, (no, not even Elvis) can offer. I was gently reminded of how our loving Heavenly Father is the only One who can give such love to us, so that we may give it to others. When our eyes of understanding are enlightened, we see the greatness of this love towards us, and we realize God is our biggest fan; for He created that spirit anew in each of us when we were born again. We are His new creation. When we renew our minds to the greatness of His matchless Word, we are filled to overflowing as we manifest God's power motivated by love of and for God. If people really comprehended the greatness of God's love towards us, they would be fulfilled and have need of nothing, with confidence that a Father with so great a love, will meet their every need. This He has promised to all those who believe, as we trust in Him as our sufficiency. As long as these truths are just words on paper, they will not be fully known. It is by the mouth of the disciple, by which the Word is declared to the world, and it is by the life of the disciple that God's love is made experientially known to the world. God bless you! You are one of a kind! You're the best!
