Tiny Drops of Water

To God Be The Glory, Great Things He Still Does!

Romans 11:36 KJV
For of Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things:
to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

This page consists of short stories about some of the small victories in my life. Even the simplest moments in life can give us encouragement to continue in God's Word, because God caters these little details specific to each person. He truly cares about every minute detail of our lives. Tiny drops of water, sustained over time, can soften the hardest stone. Likewise, tiny blessings, over time, can soften even the hardest heart.

Small victories build large faith!

If you're ever tricked into thinking you're not important to God,
or if you think you're not good enough to receive the blessings of God,
you may want to read Luke 15:4-10:

MY LITTLE DROPS OF WATER
    A doctor came in to speak with my family member prior to surgery the other day. He was covered in a blanket, b/c it was freezing in the room. I asked if he was comfortable being present as I prayed for my family member. He opened the blanket to reveal a t-shirt with the words, "Jesus is the way, the truth and the life" as he said, "Do you think I mind?" with a big smile! He said he felt even better after we prayed. I certainly felt very relieved! It may be a small detail, but it was exactly what I needed at the precise moment I needed it! God is so good! September 17, 2015
    My adversary worked hard to stop me from teaching God's Word today. I started to lose my voice last night. I prayed and woke up this morning with a voice. As we arrived the home where I would teach, I realized I had forgotten my notes at home. I looked at my husband, and told him we must go home and get them. I started getting concerned I wouldn't remember the correct scriptures and didn't want to send people all over the Bible by giving them the wrong verses. I also enjoy talking about the Word and my notes keep me on topic, so I don't ramble or repeat myself. My husband decided to go inside and tell them we may be a little late, rather than calling from the road. I thought for a moment and recognized this as an opportunity to believe God. God is a very present help in trouble. I said to myself, "Self, you've got this, b/c you know the Word and God will back you up." I took a few moments to look in my Bible to be sure I gave people the correct scripture references. I taught the Word of God on living in God's grace until the return of Christ. I remembered all of the scripture references, and together, we all saw the power of God in action. I have Christ in me and can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. We serve a risen Savior! The power of God that worked within me today to give the right Word for the right time, is the same power that stands behind every promise in the Word of God.

    On this day, six years ago, I left my digital camera on the back edge of a boat with no rails. It was rained on for an hour, and somehow remained in place for a ten mile bumpy ride. When I arrived home, it worked perfectly! If God will do that with a little camera I like, just imagine what He will do for people!

“To God Be The Glory, Great Things He Hath Done”

To God be the glory, great things He hath done,
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life our redemption to win,
And opened the life-gate that all may go in.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice;
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice;
Oh, come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory; great things He hath done.

Oh, perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.

Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport when Jesus we see.
